Lombardi Women Celebrates 20 Years of Advancing Breast Cancer Research

On October 1, nearly 550 advocates, cancer survivors, and community supporters gathered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lombardi Women, marking two decades of dedication to the fight against breast cancer. The milestone event raised more than $640,000 to support breast cancer research at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Moderated by NBC4 anchor Eun Yang, the evening featured Spirit of Life honoree Jessica Miller and Dr. Claudine Isaacs, a leading oncologist at Georgetown Lombardi, highlighting the power of community, research, and collective commitment to finding a cure.
