The holidays are all about spending time with your loved ones – pets included! Even if you’re traveling this holiday season and can’t be home with your pet fam, here are some of our favorite pet-centric ways to get in the holiday spirit.

Create a Festive Stocking

Craft or buy a stocking for your pet, filling it with treats, toys, or a cozy blanket. When it’s time to open gifts, let your pet sniff out their surprises for an extra festive moment (plus extra enrichment for your pup!)

SHARE SAFE HOLIDAY TREATS

The holidays are a great time to indulge – both for you and your pet! Make or buy pet-friendly treats (like pumpkin biscuits or chew toys) so they can enjoy something special, too. You can even make your own dog-safe cookies with holiday cookie cutters!

HAVE A HOLIDAY PHOTO SHOOT

Your pet doesn’t need an Instagram of their own for them to be worthy of center stage! Matching outfits for the whole family (pets included) are tons of fun, and make for a great holiday card. Some pet stores even offer pet photos with Santa!

PET ARTS AND CRAFTS

Use pet-safe materials to make a print or impression of your pet’s paw for a tree ornament, or have your kids help with decorating a fun frame to put your favorite photo of your pet in!

PLAN A SEASONAL BUCKET LIST

Drive through a light show, stroll to get hot cocoa and a pup cup, or have them help you pick out a tree!
